May 2020 Competition Meeting
The May Competition is still a go.
Unfortunately, The Artists' Workshop is still closed until further notice. Last month we had great participation and we all should be looking forward to submitting images for our May "virtual " critiquing and competition meeting.
May's images will still be submitted as usual through our club website. The images will be due by midnight on Tuesday, May 5th. If for some reason you need more time please contact Steve. stevetrofatter@gmail.com Once all the entries have been collected, they will be sent to the judge as usual. They will be judged, the scores and comments will be sent back to Steve. I (Tom, your hard working Webmaster) will then post the results on our club website as I did last month.
Let's not allow this crazy COVID 19 thing get the best of us. As photographers most of the time we don't want to be around people and having them jumping into our pictures anyway. As important as social distancing is, I keep hearing that getting out into the fresh air is still very good for us. Although we should respect this COVID 19 virus, we can still remain in control of our lives. As Steve said last month "keep on clicking".
The theme this month is "The American Flag "
Each member will be able to submit 1 Theme photo "The American Flag " and 2 entries in the Open category.
Images must be submitted by the end of the day Tuesday, May 5th, so our judge will have time to review them. Once you have become a member you will be given easy-to-follow detailed information on how to submit entries.

As mentioned earlier you have to be a member to submit images. However you do not have to be a member to attend, please come as our guest. Just come for the evening to see what we are all about, have some fun and enjoy the camaraderie. Looking forward to seeing you.
