January 2019 Monthly Workshop Meeting
Photographing Birds In Your Own Backyard
The January Workshop Meeting will be held 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23rd at the Artists' Workshop, 540 Barracuda Boulevard, New Smyrna Beach (additional directions below).
Welcome to our first workshop for 2019. After not scheduling workshops during the holiday season, we are off and running again. If you're one of the many Meetup members who, have clicked to join our meetup page, but have yet to participate in any club activities, this is a great opportunity for us to get acquainted in 2019. We want you to know that we would enjoy you being our guest at this workshop.
Mark Bochiardy will be giving a workshop on how to better photograph birds in your own backyard. Often times great photographs don't just happen, they are planned. Mark has prepared a slideshow presentation on how he sets-up and photographs birds in his backyard. This will be a very casual meeting where you are able to ask questions and have conversation any time during the presentation.
Mark is an experienced photographer, regardless of your skill level, there is always something to gained while we learn and interact at these workshops.
Note: GPS will take you just short of our location at the Marine Discovery Center / Artist's Workshop.
Turn left onto Barracuda Blvd., continue over the little bridge crossing the water way, drive 1/10 mile to the Marine Discovery Center on left. Park in lot, take the lighted walkway on your right (north side) to the back of the building. See you there.
