February 2019 Monthly Workshop Meeting
"Critique"
The January Workshop Meeting will be held 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27th. at the Artists' Workshop, 540 Barracuda Boulevard, New Smyrna Beach (additional directions below).
Mark Bochiardy and Tony Barbuito will be hosting this month's workshop. They're calling the workshop "Critique". This will be a great opportunity to get feedback on your images as well as learn from others.
1. Anyone that wants to participate will need to submit 2 pictures.
a. This can be by e-mail to [email protected], or on a flash drive the night of the workshop.
2. The picture should be one that you would like feedback on.
a. A good example would be an image that you might be on the fence with.
b. Another might be something that just didn't come out the way you wanted, and how it can be improved to get there.
c. Please.... No Watermarks on the image.
3. The pictures will be displayed randomly, and anonymously.
4. Everyone in attendance that night will be able to comment on what they like about the image, and/or what might have been done to make the image better.
a. Sidebar.... this should be done in a respectful manner.
5. After the comments are made, the owner of that image can say it's theirs, or remain anonymous.
6. The whole idea behind this is, we can all learn from each other, and maybe see things in a different perspective.
Should be fun!
As always, guest are always welcome, you do not have to be a member to attend any of our workshop meetings.
Come on out for an evening of learning and enjoy the company of other photographers of all levels.
Looking forward to seeing you.
Note: GPS will take you just short of our location at the Marine Discovery Center / Artist's Workshop.
Turn left onto Barracuda Blvd., continue over the little bridge crossing the water way, drive 1/10 mile to the Marine Discovery Center on left. Park in lot, take the lighted walkway on your right (north side) to the back of the building. See you there.
