April 2021 Critiquing and Competition Meeting
Our regular Critiquing and Competition Meeting will be held 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021. Due to the present COVID-19 Pandemic we are still unable to meet at the Artists' Workshop. This month we will again be having a ZOOM meeting. Let me assure you it is simple and does not require any real computer skills to join the meeting. Simply click on the provided link, activate your computer camera, and turn on your volume and you're there.
You will be emailed the link for the April ZOOM Meeting shortly before the meeting.
The theme this month is "Black and White".
Greg Evans did a great workshop last month on Black and White. One of the techniques he used if you recall was to start off with a profile in LRC. I have used Scott Kelby since the origination of Lightroom as my "go to" for training. Scott Kelby has a couple of Black and White YouTube tutorials that should refresh your memory from Greg's workshop.

Each member will be able to submit 1 Theme image "Black and White" and 1 entry in the Open category.
The theme image must have been taken within the last 12 months and the open image must have been taken within the past 5 years. The reason we do this is to encourage the photographer to get out and take new images and share their more current work.
Keep in mind you can submit any image from the above time frame up to 3 times providing the entry has not been awarded 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place from any category previously.

Zoom is working great, and yes we do still meet in the field for Phototunities as well as some Workshops. Make it a point to attended our next event and catch up with other club members. Our March Phototunity / Workshop was a hug success with around 20 participants, we all had a great time. A special thanks goes out to Kevin Wright AKA
