Upcoming Monthly Themes For 2023
The purpose for our monthly themes are to challenge you as a photographer. To get you to think out-of-the-box and get creative with new and challenging subject matter. Have some fun with this. If your stuck on an idea, work with a friend or fellow club member. This is your opportunity to accept the challenge and grow in your photography skills.
January - Purple

Look around....purple is everywhere. If not quite purple enough to please you, give it a little help.

February - Abstract
|
This is your opportunity to get into your editing software filters and have some fun. Or you can find something done by someone else. Challenge yourself in being creative and observant.

March - Motion
|
The world is always moving. Express yourself in what you see moving and how you see movement.
|
April - Old Florida
|
Photograph a subject that hasn't changed in 60 plus years that really screams "Old Florida".

May - Birds

Birds, really! Yes really, do something you haven't seen or done before. Follow the lead from Long-time club member John Lowe's recently submitted image.

Summer Break - June, July ,and August
September - Letters or Numbers

This will be a fun challenge, Just make sure the theme is very clear.

October - Hands
|
When you think about it, hands or a person's hands can tell a very profound story.
|
November - Old Wood
|
Again the challenge here is to have a clear theme image. Does the image say, for example, old wood or old building?
|
|
December - Holiday Cheer
Please check back regularly. Due to workshop schedules and other circumstances the month for any theme could change.
